Content components

The emergency alert is used to update users of your website about an emergency such as fire, flood, heat wave, lightning, medical pollution or traffic.

The alert pushes the entire webpage down from the top and continues to display on all pages until manually dismissed by the user.

It is not intended to be used for promotional content.

How to build

You can only turn one alert on at a time, and they affect your entire site. Alerts are only turned on when an emergency notification has been sent from the Emergency Management Victoria State Control Centre.
